The Largest Refinery Project In China-Zhoushan Refinery

The Phase II project of Zhoushan Green Petrochemical Base (officially known as "Zhoushan Green Petrochemical Base") was launched in 2020 and fully put into operation in 2022, achieving a comprehensive upgrade in production capacity of refining, ethylene, and aromatics. Located on Yushan Island, Daishan County, Zhejiang Province, it is China's first "offshore" petrochemical base. As the largest refining and chemical integration project in China in terms of scale and technological advancement, it is also the world's largest single industrial project in terms of investment.
